Mayor J. C. “Craig” Williams

Mayor Williams was born in Casa Grande, Arizona, on June 24, 1962. He moved to Mammoth when he was five years old and, with the exception of ten years spent in the U.S. Air Force, has lived here ever since. He attended Mammoth Elementary School, was in the first class to graduate from Gardener Middle School, and was a 1979 graduate of San Manuel High School. He attended the world’s largest community college–Community College of the Air Force–as well as Central Arizona College.

In addition to serving in the air force, Mayor Williams served in the Arizona National Guard.

Mayor Williams is a current board member and past president of the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition, a member of the Central Arizona Association of Governments regional council, and a member of the Pinal Partnership.

Mayor Williams and his wife, Patricia, have four boys: Corey, Seth, Matthew and Ismael.

Williams is currently employed by Pinal County.
